8th NATIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL FESTIVAL

The 8th National Technological Festival’s main event was conducted on Shrawan 6 and 7. The event was inaugurated by Honorable Minister Gangalal Tuladhar, Ministry of Education.
The technical quiz competition was held 2 weeks before the main event. Students from bachelor and higher secondary level participated in the event. The quiz competition was among 8 teams with 3 members in each team. Paper presentation, gaming competition and Yomari Code camp competition was held on the 1st day whereas the competitive as well as non-competitive entries related to hardware, software and electrical events were exhibited on both days of the festival while. A special program for the HSEB students entitled +2 Expo was held with an aim of giving future and career related counseling to the students. The +2 Expo also enlightened the scope of engineering.
Besides these, different corporate organizations like D2Hawkeye, Yomari Inc, Deerwalk, YIPL, Nepasoft Solutions, Janaki Tech, Opera, Laba Nepal, Ncell and World Link had put up their stalls in the Pulchowk Campus premises. All these firms that put their stalls were hugely benefitted from the event. The event helped in the organization’s advertisement and its promotion. The Golden sponsor for the event was D2Hawkeye Pvt. Ltd. The total number of visitors was about 13000 to 15000. The visitors included well-known figures of the society, Engineers, technical personnel, engineering students of different colleges, 10+2 students. We also had participants from engineering colleges across the country.
The 1st prize for technical quiz was bagged by the team from Pulchowk Campus and 1st runner up from Apex College. The first prize in the Hardware Competition was awarded to the project from Khwopa College of Enginnering. The winner of the Software Competition was “Wings of Chaos” from IOE, Pulchowk Campus. There was active participation in Code Camp conducted by Yomari inc which was won by participants from Pulchowk Campus and National College of Engineering. There were various winners in the Gaming Competition
